VIRTUAL PRESENTATION CLINIC - BLOCK LICENSE SCHEME
WHO IS IT FOR?
The VPC Block Licence Scheme allows employers to purchases a set of licences
for their staff to use. This scheme is aimed at Ambulance Trusts and NHS Trusts
but can be used by any company.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- The employer must nominate a point of contact (normally the person who will
distribute the licenses to the employees)
- On receipt of payment, Narcaid will issue the Contact Person with a license
code.
- The license code can then be given to employees who can use it to register
for the Virtual Presentation Clinic (VPC).
- The contact person can view a report on the Narcaid web site that will show
which of their employees have registered using their license code. The contact
person can remove the license from the person if necessary in order to reallocate
a license (e.g. an employee leaves the company). The contact person can also
allocate registered users of their license to perform this function on their
behalf.
- Notice will also be given by Narcaid when the block licenses are due for renewal.
- Extra blocks of licenses can be purchased at any time - the costs of these
licenses will depend on the TOTAL amount of licenses being held by that company
at the time of purchase.

The service offered by the Narcaid ECODA Unit is designed for professional ambulance personnel and other emergency care practitioners.
Our training programmes are designed to teach drug awareness (rather than medical skills) to inform
clinical judgment. Individual clinical judgment must be exercised in each presentation according to
pre-existing training.
